Bai Mu Dan—white peony in Chinese—is a precious tea picked just a few weeks a year in the Fujian region of China. At harvest time, only the bud and first two young leaves are retained. When brewed, this tea gives off a fruity, fresh and floral aroma, slightly sweet, reminiscent of the peony (hence its Chinese name). Well worth discovering….
